The M word and J word announcements

Wow its been forever since I've blogged.  Crazy how time flies.  Apparently once you get engaged all sorts of things go out the window.  I think Jeremy is the only person that sees me for longer than two minutes at a time...unless he is with me, then someone may see me longer.  So much is happening.  For those of you who don't know, I am getting married March 11th 2011 at 11 AM in the Logan temple.  Yes we tried to fit as many 11s in there as we could.  Its been suggested we wait until November and do the complete 11 thing.  But I didn't want wait that long. I thought we could do July 11th.  It would be 7-11, and we could have slurpees at my reception. Haha.  Cheesy I know.  But it would be funny!  Also we'll be having two receptions/open houses whatever you call ems.  One in Smithfield March 11th and Salina the following night.  We'd love to have you there.

Things have been going well.  The stitches in my finger are out and I can do dishes again and get my finger wet.  Surprisingly it didn't scar like I thought it would.    Wedding plans move forward as well.  I'm hopefully going dress shopping tomorrow. I'm way excited!  I should bring my camera and hide the pictures from Jeremy... at least until after the wedding.

Also I have some very good news!  I have a job!!!! I'm way excited. Its been very stressful worrying about getting a job.  Rob got an email from someone who got the email from someone from this guy named Ken who was looking for CNAs.  I emailed him and sent in my resume.  He had me come in for an interview and they told me that they wanted me to come to orientation.  Great!  Does that mean I'm hired?  I went to orientation yesterday and passed off the drug test, and it sounds like I'm hired. I just need to have my TB test read and pick up my car insurance card and bring them in on Monday and I shall be good to go!  I'm really excited.  Its for a place called Care Minders and its a home health agency. I've always wanted to work for one so it will be a neat experience. Now just Jeremy needs to find a job.  We're hoping EBAY will hire him.  He had two interviews and it sounds really hopeful.  Say a prayer for us!

Hmmmm....what else.  The holidays were great.  I totally got spoiled.  I got Jeremy a book by Brad Wilcox.  And Jeremy not only got me a car stereo but also an iPod touch!  I didn't know what to do with myself.  I've never felt so spoiled in my life!  It was almost overwhelming.  I'm loving the iPod touch.  Its been alot of fun with games and music and web connecting.  Loving it.  I kinda felt bad I only got Jeremy a book, but I did the best I could... We also got pots and pans, plateware and a beautiful picture of the Logan temple












Isn't that beautiful?  Life is great and I'm loving it. Its had its trials. No good comes without the darkness, but I'm working my way to the sun.  It will be worth it.
