Finally the Dawn!

Wow how fast things can change!  One day can be absolutely horrible...all dark and scary.  Then the next there can be such light and hope!  So two weeks ago was rough...terrifying.  Then comes hope.  Last Monday we decided we were going to look for apartments.  We found a bunch in Orem area (I can't believe I'm considering moving that close to Provo!).  Most of those were 4-plexes and unfurnished, plus utilities.  Not super nice, but I don't need super nice.  My only request was that I not live in the ghetto...or at least really ghetto.  Been there, done that....not so keen on doing it again.  We toured an apartment complex in Lindon (I think...)  it was nice, but still a bit steep $700 plus utilities, and they asked for renters insurance.  Finally we looked at a place in Lindon.  Creepy!  We drove on this street, off the main roads, the houses looked like they were falling apart and not well taken care of.  We found the one that had bedroom basement, the garage had alot of junk piled in it.  The door we assumed lead to the basement was a cheap metal door and looked like it was going to fall apart any minute. I just did not feel good about it!  I told Jeremy we couldn't live there.  If I was on my mission and I felt like that about a street, we did not tract it.  Next up was a apartment basement type of thing in Pleasant Grove.  I can't tell you the differences we felt in the two places.  There was a nice home and attached to the side was a little apartment.  It had its own entrance and was separate from the rest of the house.  We decided to knock on the door and see if anyone was home.  Lucky for us the landlord pulled in.  While we were standing at the door, I just felt so good.  It was like the Spirit was telling me this was a good place.  I didn't expect to feel the spirit like that apartment hunting!  But I did.  We went for a tour of the place, and I fell in love with it!  It has a couch and a love-seat as well as a full kitchen, with stove, microwave and fridge.  It also includes a washer and dryer downstairs.  That is just what we need!  Its pretty small, but I don't think we need anything big.  And its only $575!  Including utilities.  Perfect!  Really I couldn't ask for more.  So we filled out the application and brought it back on Wednesday.  And prayed really hard that we could get it.  Thursday she called and told us they would like to rent it to us!!! Yea!! Jeremy will move in the first of February and pay the deposit and first months rent.  I am so excited! We have a place to live and its going to work out great!

Also we got a bed too! One of Jeremy's friends on facebook posted that she was giving a queen size bed away.  Yeah yeah!  We totally posted that we wanted it.  We don't know what shape it is in...but hopefully it will work out.

Then Jeremy heard from Ebay.  They are offering him a job. :-D  So excited!  That takes so much stress off.  Then as far as my job, I picked up two clients that I will take care of and I also filled in for a 24 hour shift.  So things are looking up.

Its a lesson I have to keep re-learning.  Its always darkest before the dawn.  Things will get better.  I try to remember what President Pfile would always say... "If you feel like all hell is breaking loose, now is not time to quit.  The Lord is preparing you for something more."  I know that, I just have to remember it!  Trials are hard, but greater things are coming....like, you know...being sealed in the temple!

Life is great!
