I really don't want to do my online class... *sigh* I'm hoping I'm just burned out from Med Anat...or its going to be a very long summer. Once I get going I'm fine, but its getting started. I think its just looking at it over all, book reading, lecture reading, videos, post discussion, complete quiz. It sounds like alot. Especially I think because my Med Anat reading is between 30 and 40 pages. That is overwhelming. I haven't done most of it. Good thing my final is open book or I'd really be toast.
I went visiting teaching on Sunday. That was quite the adventure. I think I traumatized my companion. I can laugh about it now, I hope she can. We have three girls two which are active and one less active. I called the active girls, and made appointments confirmed addresses like the good RM I am. I hesitated to call the LA deciding we'd go for the surprise element. :D
Sunday rolls around and I pick up my companion...we go to girl #1 only to find her address seems to not exist. Well can't let that stop us! We promised to go visiting teaching. Looking back I guess we could have called. Nahhhh we'll just go up to one random door and ask if she lives there. She didn't, but we did find out that she lived in the basement. And she was out of town. So I've upgraded my pass along cards and post-its for actual cards. I made my companion write the note because my handwriting is atrocious (when was the last time you heard that word outside a 19th century novel). So now we had time to kill... off to find the less active!
Just our luck, her address doesn't even remotely exist. So I call the RS president. At first she says its in Logan so I start to drive there and get to hyde park lane, and she says actually its in Smithfield (That made more sense). So Uturn I go. And we drive to the one apartment complex in Smithfield. Duh...shoulda figured that one out. But the address I just got...isn't the right one either. (What luck?!) Recently returned missionary me doesn't think anything of knocking on the all of two #8 apartments in the complex. So I pick the one on the left and its a basement type thing so I go down the stairs and knock. I turn around and realize my companion is standing up the stairs. Like not next to me... not even behind me. Well no one answered so we went to the other #8. No answer there either. So after killing some more time by babbling on and on...(I didn't know what to talk about) We finally went to the last girls house, whose address was right, and she was at home. All in all I think it was quite the adventure and quite keen to go on another one. (I've been reading one of my favorite books "Little Women" and the language always rubbs off) As for my companion....I think she's traumatized and has decided she will never go visiting teaching with me again, much less go on a mission.
Well I think I have procrastinated doing my OTA class, especially if I'm making brownies tonight.... g'night!
